Our Graduate Volunteer Programme is a life skills initiative for young people who have been with the Play Scheme as children and have now reached the maximum age of 16.  They are able to return to the Play Scheme until they are 18.  This enables our young people and their families to bridge the gap between child and adult services.  During their time with the programme, they will learn vital skills which are essential for learning, life and work. 

 

WHAT DOES THIS INVOLVE?

    Assisting with general tasks within the Play Scheme

    Visiting supermarkets

    Using money/lists

    Taking public transport

    Building confidence in interacting with others in different environments

    Making new friends.
